Peru Rainforest Needs Help

Rainforest is essential to every human being on the planet. It provides the air we breathe, water, food, shelter and so many things to think of.
Peru the home of the mighty Amazon River. Amazon is considered as the only biological land reserve on Earth with the largest rainforest of 550 million hectares, the majority of forest can be found in Brazil (60%), followed by Peru at 13% and Colombia at 10% forest-covered areas. While Ecuador, Venezuela, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana shares equally the same forest landmass on this side of the globe.

Using drones and working with government agencies, two indigenous communities in Peru have gone from losing 5% of their land to 0% deforestation. Indigenous communities are protecting the rainforest even as they face pressure and violence from illegal coca growing, drug trafficking, and logging.
