What it can do and how to use it

1. Dive logbook

Open Logbook in the bottom menu and tap + New dive. Fill in what you want: site, date, depth, bottom time, gas mixes (air, nitrox or trimix, with several tanks), tank pressures, conditions, buddy and notes. The app works out your gas MOD, the ppO₂ at your deepest point and your air consumption (SAC) for you, and warns you if the ppO₂ is too high. Your dive total, deepest dive and nitrox dives are counted automatically. You can add a photo, a signature from your buddy or instructor, print the logbook as a PDF, or export it as a spreadsheet (CSV). Works for recreational and technical diving.

2. Dive map

Open Map. Search for a dive site by name or country, or move and zoom the map. Blue pins are dive sites, pink pins are sites you dived, red squares are sites you added. Tap a pin to see depth, level, season and what is special about the site. Tap + I dived here to count a dive, or Log this dive to open the logbook with the site filled in. Dives you log with a position appear on the map by themselves. Missing a site? Tap + Add a dive site, and use Tell the club to send it to us on WhatsApp.

3. Photo album and fish ID help

On the Map page, scroll to Photo album and tap + Add photos. Link each photo to a dive site, then add name tags (fish, coral, wreck) that show in the corner of the photo. Tap a photo and press Identify if you do not know what you photographed. It shares the photo with a free outside tool, such as Seek or iNaturalist, which suggests a name. We do not identify animals ourselves, and the suggestions may not be 100% accurate, so check them against a guide or ask an instructor.

4. Booking

Open Book, choose a course or activity and your dates, and tap send. The app opens WhatsApp with your request already written, and you press send there.

5. Keep your data safe

Your dives, sites and photos are saved only on your own phone. Tap Back up in the logbook and on the map now and then, and send the file to yourself by WhatsApp, email or Drive. On a new phone, install the app, tap Restore and choose the file. Do not clear the browser data for this site, because that deletes your logbook.

What is inside, in short

Everything you save stays on your own phone. We cannot see it. Use Back up in the logbook and map now and then. This is a web app, so it is not in the Play Store or App Store, and it updates by itself.
