Dive Map & Photos

Dive sites of the world, the places you dived, and your photos

Your dive map and photo album stay on your own device. We cannot see them. Pins for the dive sites come from a shared list; the sites you dived, your photos and the sites you add are saved only here. Use Back up to keep a copy or to move to a new phone. The map pictures need an internet connection.

Tap a pin or search for a dive site to see its details here. Dive sites are shown where we know them; positions marked “approximate” can be several kilometres off. Always get a local briefing before you dive.

Which animal is this?

Open a photo in your album and tap Identify. We do not run any recognition ourselves, so your photos never leave your device unless you choose to upload one to a service below. These tools are free, but results can be wrong, especially underwater. Treat a name as a good guess, not a fact, and check it against a fish or reef book.

Back up

The dive logbook has its own backup button on the logbook page. Dives you log there with a position appear on this map automatically.

The site list is a starting point compiled from public sources and general diving knowledge, with approximate positions. It is not a navigation or dive-planning tool and may contain mistakes. Conditions, access rules and permits change; ask a local dive centre. Missing a site, or found a mistake? Add the site yourself, or tell us on WhatsApp.
